Week 10's COVID-19 Report: The Rest of the Story

The Rest of the Story:

This is my Week 10 COVID Report entitled: The Rest of the Story. My objective throughout this Data Evaluation Effort is to demonstrate the importance of using a regional approach to evaluating data. The current county-by-county logging/posting introduces bureaucracy, and in a state with 254 counties - adds a layer of complexity that slows down action needed to respond in a timely fashion to surges.

Yesterday's table and graphic reported on Texas's Positivity Numbers. Now that the state is providing an accounting of county tests on a daily basis, the positivity numbers can be calculated on a regional basis and compared with the statewide number. Because of a problem with the DSHS Electronic Lab Reporting System, Week10 results will only include input through this past Thursday. When the final numbers come in, I will provide updates.
